Converting A DeepDyve Account To Microsoft Azure

The first time a new Microsoft Azure user with an existing DeepDyve email account logs in with Azure credentials, the login will be blocked for security reasons. The account must first be converted to a Microsoft Azure account.

To convert an existing DeepDyve account to a Microsoft Azure account:

  1. Log in to DeepDyve, using your DeepDyve username and password
    1. NOTE: Your Microsoft Azure profile email field must match your DeepDyve email field. If they are different, please edit one or the other to match. Otherwise, the conversion will be blocked.
  2. In DeepDyve, Click on upper right dropdown menu next to your username, and select the first item, "Account Settings"
  3. On the left you will see an "Azure Status" section, under which a "Convert to Microsoft Azure" button is located.

  1. Click on the button. You will be redirected to Microsoft Azure, and if you are not already logged in, you will be prompted for your Azure credentials.
  2. After entering your Microsoft Azure credentials, the account conversion will start, and if successful, you will be redirected to your account settings page, where you will see a success message. The Azure Status will now display "Microsoft Azure User"

  1. If you do not see the “Convert to Microsoft Azure User” button, or if the conversion does not complete successfully, please contact your DeepDyve account manager.
